This Autumn, our 25th anniversary year culminates in a party at the iconic Jazz Cafe in London, featuring some of our favourite live & club acts, all night long.
Join us for a celebration of our 25 years working on music that we love, for an unmissable live event and club night featuring legends in the scene, Strut merchandise, Carhartt WIP collaborations and more.
Performing live will be Ethiopian icon Mulatu Astatke and his band. A trailblazer and creator of the Ethio-jazz genre, Astatke continues to reach audiences across the world with his unique, widescreen sound and his band of incredible A-list musicians. This is a rare chance to catch him in an intimate venue setting.
Joining the bill is Flock, a five-piece ensemble showcasing the best of London's jazz and improvisational scene. The group features Bex Burch (fresh from her debut solo album on International Anthem), Sarathy Korwar, Tamar Osborn (Collocutor, Dele Sosimi, Unknown To Known), Danalogue (The Comet Is Coming / Soccer96) and Al MacSween (Kefaya).
For the after-party, we turn to the sounds of New York with two long-time favourites of the label as Body & Soul DJ and edit king Danny Krivit plays an exclusive London set alongside a very special guest (TBA).
